RAAG is a not for profit organisation founded to provide help, support and advice to residents who live on housing estates where the sewers, roads or public open spaces have not been adopted (transferred from private to public ownership).
There are thousands of examples throughout the UK where the house builder and the local authority have signed legal agreements promising adoption of the sewers and highways, yet years later they remain `un-adopted`. The original builder is often reluctant to achieve adoption.
500,000 signatures are needed to lobby the UK Government to take action against longstanding unadopted sites.
